Dave has worked in IT in Higher Education for over 30 years with a background in Unix System Admin, notably Sun Solaris and lately Centos6 and OpenBSD. The university currently has 13,000 undergraduates as well as nearly 3,000 staff and postgraduates using Windows, MacOSX and Linux machines.. Dave heads the team which supports the Storage Area Network (~400Tb) and the recently acquired Nexenta Network Attached Storage (~90Tb).
